NASA Mission Patches

Whenever you are not sure of the restrictions on images, it is always smart to ask before posting online. I sent a message to the NASA contact about the images:

My fourth grade students looked at NASA Mission Patches on the Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo pages.


They voted on their favorite patch. I am going to have them create bar charts and I would like to know what the copyright is on the patch images. I would like to put their chart and top five patches on our classroom wiki.


Thank you, in advance, for any help you can offer me in regards to the copyright status of the images.

These images are in the Public Domain, not copyrighted, and you may use them for classroom purposes.
